About
My name is Alisha Arias, and I am the proud owner of Ms. Arias' Formal Boutique in my hometown of Cheyenne, Wyoming. With the support of my life partner, and CFO, Joshua Gross, I opened the boutique in July 2023, and together we are grateful to be celebrating over two years in business.
My journey to this boutique began during my time as a teacher in the COVID-19 pandemic. I had the privilege of teaching Social Emotional Learning to students in grades K-6 and quickly realized how many children struggled with confidence. In the age of social media, I worked hard to show students how to embrace their unique beauty instead of chasing unrealistic standards. But as the challenges of "teacher burnout" grew, I faced the heartbreaking decision to step away from a career I loved so deeply.
Not knowing exactly what path would come next, I chose to create Ms. Arias' Formal Boutique as a way to continue uplifting my community in a new way. Today, we specialize in formal wear for men, women, and children. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun shopping experience that celebrates the beauty of all body types. This boutique is more than a business- it's my way of promoting self-love, confidence, and acceptance.
